who we are

a note from our founder

You don’t need to be ready to start. You just have to be strong enough to sit in that uncomfortable feeling of being bad at something.

As women, we second guess ourselves, we talk ourselves out of doing new things, we let fear and expectations keep us small. Running forces us to face our fears and act despite those fears every day.

I started this group with no idea what it was or what it would end up being, and I’m still figuring it out. And the only thing that gave me the confidence to start this group was the belief that I can do anything with the right amount of determination, and if it fails that’s okay. Running taught me that.
